Today's lesson was basically carrying on from last lesson when we were on location filming for the news report. Instead, we were in the studio in Mount Pleasant to film the anchor roll. Due to illness from Elesha, she couldn't do her roll, so Katie volunteered to be the Anchor. We all worked together to set up the green screen, lights, camera, sound and also props to use.
My job was being the sound operator as for when me and my group create our news report, I will be on sound so from being on sound and getting some practice from my lecture Dave will help me for when it comes to doing our news report so I would know what I am doing on the day. As you can see in the pictures above, we were trying to get the look like you see on the news on TV today with the anchor behind the desk with either paper in front of them or a laptop so went and used the laptop.
Today's lesson was useful as we had more practice with setting up the green screen and also knowing now how to film for the news report which gave me and my group a lot more confidents and ideas for what to create.
